These terms and conditions apply to all transactions placed online, by email, by telephone, by post or in person with EG Coles. 

This agreement is made in England, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts and shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law.

By using this site you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. All transactions with EG Coles will be governed by these terms and conditions.

References to the ‘company’, ‘us’ or ‘we’ will refer to EG Coles. All references to the customer shall mean the person or persons purchasing or agreeing to purchase products from the company.

EG Coles have made every effort to ensure that the content of this website is as accurate as possible, but make no guarantee that the content will be free of errors. We shall not be liable for any kind of loss or damage from action taken or reliance placed on information contained on this site.

Our telephone lines are manned from 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Telephone lines are closed on national holidays and a response is not guaranteed outside these times.

Returns Policy

  1. Customers wishing to return an item should contact us in the first instance to request an email returns form which should be returned with the product specifying the reason for return. All returns requests will be considered on a case by case basis. 
  2. All items must be returned in original packaging within 30 days of purchase for a refund to be provided. All refunds will be processed subject to a 10% handling charge plus carriage charges.
  3. All items must be returned with a valid reason such as incorrect item supplied or faulty, failure to disclose the reason for return may result in the refund being delayed whilst the item is inspected. 
  4. All items will be inspected on return and a refund provided only once this inspection has been completed, any damage or defects will be noted and deductions made.
  5. All Special Order items can’t be returned without prior approval of management and will be subject to a handling charge of 25%.
  6. There are some products that, due to their characteristics and returns suitability, are excluded from our returns policy. These include; liquids, sprays, filters, and items which may be unsuitable for resale. 
  7. We are classified as an industrial trade wholesaler and our relationship with our customers is based upon business to business terms and conditions. We will accept orders from private individuals on the basis that the terms and conditions remain as though we are supplying business to business.

Changes

These Terms and Conditions may be changed from time to time without notice. Amendments will take effect from their publication on this website. Orders placed following any amendments to these Terms and Conditions confirms your agreement to be bound by the updated version. 

Prices

All prices are shown in GBP and are inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate unless clearly stated otherwise. 

While every effort has been made to check the accuracy of prices and specifications, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions, and we reserve the right to cancel and refund orders where mistakes have been made. 

Ownership

All products supplied remain the property of EG Coles until payment has been received in full by us.

Guarantee and Warranty

All products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, the period of which varies according to the product. The warranty period starts from the date of purchase. 

Force Majeure

EG Coles accepts no liability for non-performances of our obligations caused or resulting from industrial disputes or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the company such as act of God, riots, civil commotion, flood, fire and legislation. If by reason of such circumstances it shall become impossible within a reasonable time for the company to wholly or partly supply the products ordered then the customer’s liability will be limited to the value of the products already supplied together with any associated delivery charges.
